The Cyclones AHA Mission

The Cyclones Amateur Hockey Associations mission is to provide a great place for youth athletes ages 4-18 to grow their Hockey skills and life-long enjoyment of the game.

Our Cyclones vision is we will achieve their mission by providing quality coaching and mentoring so that players at every level of our program can develop their ability to advance to their next level in hockey.

Why Cyclones?

Hockey parents understand that the level of commitment it takes when a child plays competitive hockey is more than most other sports: more time, more money, more travel, more late nights and early mornings.

While a trip to "the show" may not be available to all of our players, the life-skills described on this page are absolutely available to EVERY SINGLE ONE of our players.

Life Skills

The Cyclones Commitment to Player Development through Key Areas of:

1. Top-Notch Coaching

2. High Quality Skills and Off-Ice Development Programs (Check out the video above this section of this page)

3. High Expectations and Dedication to Continuous Improvement from coaches, for both their players and themselves.

4. Program Options to suit all ages and ability levels. From 6U to 18U, from the new players fresh out of The Skate School to players with goals of AAA, junior hockey, and college hockey.

5. Our Facility, Fox Valley Ice Arena, has it all in one location. Two sheets of ice, Fox Valley Fitness/off-ice training facility on the second floor and home of the USHL Chicago Steel Hockey Team!

6. The Cyclones Community is a welcoming environment that provides club-wide interaction and fun through events like our Welcome Back Picnic, WinterFest, and Cyclones Nights at the Chicago Steel games. We also give back to the communities in our area through team service projects.

HAVE FUN AND IMPROVE!
