This summer we are offering summer skills clinics well as coaches' camps for our Mite and Squirt level players.
Mite and Squirt Skills Clinics
A six session skill clinic for current and prospective new Cyclones players. Run by the Cyclones Mite and Squirt coaching staff, these 60 minute sessions focus on fundamental skills like skating, shooting, puck handling and passing. Players will be grouped by ability and experience and go through series of skill drills and small area competitive games.
Week-long camp event run by the top level fall season coaches at the Mite (U8 - 2009, 2010) and Squirt (U10 - 2007, 2008) levels in the fall. This camp provides a first rate experience and a wonderful opportunity to get on the ice and in front of the top team coaches before tryouts begin.
Our popular Bantam and Midget Advancement Day Camp is back this summer, with the addition of an Advancement Day Camp for our Peewee level players as well.
Advancement Day Camp
Focusing on skill development, strength and conditioning, and player education. Run by Cyclones Hockey Director, Peter Rutili, this 5-week session, 2 days per week camp will focus on both on-ice and off-ice training. Each day of the camp will consist of 2 hours on the ice, (1 hour in the morning focusing on skills and 1 hour in the afternoon focusing on small area games and competition) an hour of off-ice strength and conditioning and an hour for lunch with guest speakers and instruction.
